Overview

Venues are the physical locations where players book courts and organize matches. Hub connects players with padel venues across multiple cities, allowing venue owners to manage their facilities while providing players with easy access to courts.

Finding Venues

Browse Available Venues

Players can discover venues through the dashboard:

1. Access the Dashboard

   Navigate to your dashboard to see all available venues in your area

2. Filter by City

   Use the city selector to view venues in specific locations

3. Search by Name

   Enter a venue name in the search bar to quickly find specific locations

Venue Information

Each venue displays key information to help you choose the right location:

Location Details

View the venue’s address, city, and interactive map with precise coordinates

Court Availability

See the number of active courts (resources) at each venue

Pricing Information

Check price ranges across all courts at the venue

Ratings & Reviews

Read player reviews and see average ratings for each venue

Venue Details Page

Click on any venue to view comprehensive information:

• Photo Gallery: Browse through venue images with navigation controls
• Description: Read about the venue’s facilities and amenities
• Location Map: Interactive map showing the exact venue location
• Available Courts: View all active courts with their specifications
• Player Reviews: Read experiences from other players and leave your own review

Venues display their status through color-coded badges. Only ACTIVE venues appear in search results for players.

Venue Courts (Resources)

Court Information

Each venue offers multiple courts with detailed specifications:

• Sport Type: Padel, Tennis, Squash, or Badminton
• Court Name: Unique identifier (e.g., “Court 1”, “Central Court”)
• Description: Additional details about the court
• Slot Duration: Booking time blocks (e.g., 60, 90, or 120 minutes)
• Schedule: Opening and closing times for each day of the week
• Pricing: Dynamic pricing based on day type and time of day

Viewing Court Availability

To book a specific court:

1. Select a Court

   Click “Ver disponibilidad” on any court card

2. Choose a Date

   Use the calendar to select your preferred date

3. View Time Slots

   See all available time slots with real-time availability status

4. Book or Create Match

   Either book directly for personal use or create a match to find opponents

Court availability updates in real-time. Slots may become unavailable if another player books them while you’re browsing.

Reviews and Ratings

Writing Reviews

Share your experience with other players:

1. Visit the venue detail page
2. Scroll to the “Opiniones” section
3. Select a star rating (1-5 stars)
4. Write your comment describing your experience
5. Click “Enviar” to publish your review

Review Guidelines

When writing reviews, consider:

• Court Quality: Surface condition, lighting, net quality
• Facilities: Changing rooms, parking, equipment rental
• Customer Service: Staff friendliness and responsiveness
• Value for Money: Pricing relative to quality
• Overall Experience: Would you recommend it to other players?

For Venue Owners

Venue Lifecycle

Venue owners can manage their facilities through a dedicated owner portal:

Creating a Venue

1. Navigate to the owner dashboard
2. Click “Create Venue”
3. Fill in venue details (name, address, description)
4. Upload venue photos
5. Submit for admin review

Status: New venues start as PENDING_REVIEW and require admin approval before going live.

Venue Status Workflow

• PENDING_REVIEW: Awaiting admin approval (new venues or after updates)
• ACTIVE: Publicly visible and accepting bookings
• REJECTED: Not approved by admin (includes rejection reason)
• SUSPENDED: Temporarily unavailable (owner or admin action)

Managing Court Resources

Owners can add and configure courts:

• Set sport type and court name
• Define slot durations
• Create weekly schedules
• Configure dynamic pricing rules
• Upload court photos
• Enable/disable specific courts

Updating Venue Information

Owners can update venue details at any time. When an ACTIVE venue is updated, it returns to PENDING_REVIEW status to ensure quality control.

Managing Venue Images

Venue owners can:

• Upload multiple images to showcase their facility
• Set display order for the image gallery
• Remove outdated or unwanted images
• Update images without affecting venue status

High-quality images improve booking rates. Include photos of courts, facilities, parking, and amenities.

Admin Management

Administrators have special controls for venue quality:

• Approve Venues: Review and activate pending venues
• Reject Venues: Decline with specific reasons for improvement
• Suspend Venues: Temporarily disable venues with explanation
• Monitor Activity: Track bookings and venue performance

Location and Maps

All venues include precise geolocation:

• Latitude/Longitude: Stored coordinates for accurate positioning
• Interactive Maps: Embedded maps on venue detail pages
• Distance Calculation: Used for match search and player notifications
• Address Display: Full address with street, postal code, city, and country

When creating matches, the platform uses venue locations to notify nearby players within your specified search radius.
